MOU
This is a Memorandum of Understanding between the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) and the Canada-Pakistan Business Council (CPBC). The parties agree to:
1. Jointly identify and explore business deals between Pakistani and Canadian firms;
2. Promote direct business linkages for their members;
3. Develop ways companies can reduce the risks of entering the Pakistan market;
4. Be advocates to the Canadian government on policies that promote the development of business linkages between Pakistan and Canadian companies; 5. Be a forum for networking, exchanging ideas and information and advancing interests of the parties;
6. Provide a matchmaking service to identify opportunities between firms;
7. Provide market intelligence on sectors, industries and companies to members; 8. Provide information on Canadian and Pakistan trade fairs, missions, seminars and other business related events to their respective members; 9. Work cooperatively with Government to address member needs and the trade related barriers they encounter;
It is understood.thatactivities will be developed over time and will be dependent on the ability of the parties to cooperatively and or jointly sources funds to support this initiative.
